Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026.
Bark Science ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email [email protected].
Who we are
Bark Science is a digital education business operated by The Bark Science Lab, based in Estonia (European Union). For data-protection purposes, The Bark Science Lab is the data controller for the personal data described below.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you take a quiz or request your plan, we collect your first name, email address, and (if you provide it) phone number, along with your quiz answers and result.
- Order information. If you buy a program, our payment provider processes your payment. We receive a transaction record (order ID, product, amount, status) — we do not receive or store your full card details.
- Usage data. With your consent, we use analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). See Cookies below.
Why we use it
- To send you the plan and materials you asked for.
- To deliver programs you purchase and provide support.
- To send reward-based training tips and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email).
- With consent, to measure and improve our marketing and the site.
Our legal bases are your consent (marketing, analytics cookies), contract (delivering what you purchased), and our legitimate interests (running and securing the business).
Cookies and analytics
We load analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) only after you accept via our cookie banner. Until you accept, Consent Mode keeps analytics and advertising storage denied. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the choice stored in your browser, or by emailing us.
We send transactional email (your plan, receipts) and, with consent, occasional training tips and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Sharing
We share data only with the processors that run the service — our email provider, payment provider, analytics providers, and hosting/CDN — under contracts that require them to protect it. We never sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep lead and customer data for as long as your relationship with us is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes, then delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we'll act within the time the law allows. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
